Scouting Ahead

Whew! Been working on this one for a while xD I was thinking of doing a sort of subtle fanart piece for Red Dead Redemption and fished out an old edited screenshot I downloaded from tumblr to use as reference. [link] Unfortunately the original post isn't coming up on the google images search :/

I enjoyed playing with the colors and working on the horse in particular I've never really been a big fan of Cleveland Bays, but after painting this thing I kind of want to get one for Jackieboy now. Painting the rocks was also a challenge. (For big pieces of earth with flat planes, they're really three-dimensional!)
